The 7th Annual Denver International Wine Competition, will be held on September 17 to 18, 2011 at The Omni Interlocken Resort, Broomfield,
Colorado.

The 7th Annual Denver International Wine Competition (DIWC), will be held September 17 to 18, 2011 at The Omni Interlocken Resort, Broomfield, Colorado. This competition is the largest double-blind, professionally judged wine competition in the Rocky Mountain region. It is the only Internationally focused wine competition that conducts a special post competition event showcasing its Gold medal wines. That exclusive event is called The Taste of Elegance Chefs Food & Wine Competition.

We cordially invite all wineries, importers and distributors to submit their wines!

The Denver International Wine Competition is designed to give added exposure to your wines, just in time for the holiday season. All winning entries are recognized on the competition website and receive a handsome award medal suitable for hanging on the bottle for display. Award graphics and optional award stickers may be purchased for marketing purposes.

The DIWC is organized by Wine Country Network, Inc, the publishers of Wine Country International® magazine. We organize the DIWC and select a prestigious panel of Colorado wine professionals consisting of Master Sommelier's, Wine Directors, F&B Directors, Wine Journalists and Retailers. Our goal is to create a well-rounded panel of experts that taste wines “double-blind” and achieve the fairest scoring results possible. For our popular varietal categories we separate wines in as many as 4 different price points to keep the judging results fair.

While the DIWC is affiliated with the Denver International Wine Festival which takes place during the first week of November, this competition is open to all wineries with current or intended distribution in the State of
Colorado. Medal winning wines will be posted on this website within 72 hours of the competition. Posted winners will remain listed in the results section of this website under the year that their wine won a medal. Wine Country Network conducts an aggressive publicity campaign generating valuable media exposure for all winners.

Since wine label design is an important element of marketing and selling wines, a new wine label competition is also offered. The judging panel for this competition consists of Art Directors and Award Winning Graphics
Professionals.

We cordially invite your participation!
