Denver International Wine Competition is the largest professionally
run Double-blind wine competition in the Rocky Mountain Region.
In it's 4th
year, the competition is accepting wine entries from June 1 to August
15, 2008.
The competition is judged
by a prestigious panel of Colorado wine
professionals from the wine retail, wine wholesale, hospitality
and culinary fields. The goal is to create a well-rounded panel
of experts that taste wines “double blind” and achieve
the fairest scoring results possible

DENVER, Oct. 29 to Nov. 1, 2008
Denver, Colorado, Wine Country Network, the publishers of Wine Country
International magazine, have announced that they will hold the 4th
Annual Denver International Wine Festival at The University of Denver
School of Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Management (HRTM), part
of the Daniels College of Business.
The 2008 DIWF
expands to a three-day international celebration of wine and cuisine.
The festival will take place during the first week of November,
which coincides with Denver Wine Week, as proclaimed by Denver Mayor
John Hickenlooper.
