As many as 16 Wine Savvy Chefs compete to 32 make custom paired epicurean delights with Gold medal winning wines from the Denver International Wine Competition. Denver' premier annual foodie event has been graced by Colorado master chefs, including Top Chef Season 5 winner Hosea Rosenberg, who returns this year as a celebrity judge and host.

CHARITY: The Foundation For Sight and Sound, Help America Hear Program.
The Denver International Wine Festival is pleased to announce that in 2010, we will again partner with The Foundation For Sight and Sound, a 501(c)3 non profit organization and their Help America Hear Program, which provides hearing aides to disadvantaged people with a hearing disability.
The 2010 Denver International Wine Festival will donate a portion of ticket sales and 100% of the proceeds of all silent and live auctions to the Foundation for Sight and Sound. The Help America Hear Program was created in January 2009 and has since fitted 120 men, women & children nationwide with hearing aids. With the minimum cost of a hearing aid averaging $2,000, many individuals are unable to afford this necessary tool for improving their quality of life.

Results of The 2010 Denver International Wine Competition Announced
50% increase in wine submittals received. 170 medals awarded!
Denver, Colorado, Wine Country Network, Inc, the producers of the Denver
International Wine Festival and Competition have announced the winners for
the 6th Annual Denver International Wine Competition. The competition was
held on September 11 & 12, 2010 at The Omni Interlocken Resort, Broomfield,
Colorado.
Eighteen industry professionals participated in this two-day double blind
competition. Approximately 120 consumers also attended a rare "Consumer's
Choice" tasting of more than 180 of the competition's first day wines.
In it's 6th year, the Denver International Wine Competition receives wine
entries from around the globe. 2010 entries represented a 50% increase over
2009. The judges awarded 170 medals, including double gold, gold, silver and
bronze distinctions. The 2010 "Best of Show" winner was Cinquain Chardonnay
2009 California, Monterey. The "Best Red Wine" award was tied by Coiled
Wines Syrah, Snake River, Idaho and Andretti Winery's Dolcetto, Napa,
California. The "Best Wine Label" winner was Cliff Family Winery for it's

The 4Th Annual
Denver International Wine Competition is now open for business,
accepting wine entries from domestic and International wineries.
This competition and it's preceding, Denver International Wine Festival
are produced by Wine Country Network,Inc.
The Denver International
Wine Competition is the premier international wine competition in
the Rockies. Wines are tasted “double-blind” by a distinguished
panel of judges including nationally known wine columnists, wine
critics, retailers, food & beverage directors, wine industry
members and experienced sommeliers.
The 2008 Denver
International Wine Competition is pleased to announce that The Warwick
Denver Hotel and Randolph’s Restaurant & Bar have graciously
agreed again to be the official hosts of this year’s competition.
The Denver International
Wine Competition blind tasting will be held September 13-14, 2008.
The tasting is private and only open to our judges, staff and select
members of the news media. Official entry forms and submission guidelines
are now posted as PDF’s on this website.
In addition
to competing for Gold, Silver and Bronze medals for the best wines
in more than 5o categories, wineries may enter a Wine Label Design
Contest. Designs are judged by a prestigious panel of artists, retailers
and marketing experts.
Wine entries
must be received no later than Friday August 15, 2008. Winners are
announced within 48 hours of the judges tasting and posted on the
official website.
A selection
of the Gold medal winning wines will be previewed at "The Taste
of Elegance" Chef's Wine & Food Pairing Competition &
Auction on Thursday October 30,2008, 6 to 9pm at The University
of Denver, Hotel, Restaurant & Travel School (HRTM). 100% of
the live and silent auction proceeds will benefit a newly formed
scholarship fund.
